Kajal is a make-up item, which goes back in Indian culture. In ancient India, Kajal was applied as a coolant for the eyes and to ward off the "evil eye" from children. It was also used against sun glaring heat and eye ailments.
Soultree's Pure Black Kajal is made by a traditional Ayurvedic recipe using a 300-year-old process. Carbon black is collected by burning vegetable oil in earthen lamps and then hand mixing the same with organic ghee (clarified butter) to make a gossamer paste. Organic Almond Oil and Natural Mineral colours are added to this Kohl, which make it safe and gives it a colour that will highlight the eyes and keep them cool.

How to use
Before applying the Kajal, wash your face and eyes properly to ensure it is clean and that there are no dirt particles on your face and around your eyes. Gently pull down the lower eyelid so that the inner lid line or waterline is exposed and start lining from the inner corner of the eye up to the outer end. For the upper eyelid, close the eye and line the upper lid smoothly, starting from the inner corner up to the outer corner of the eye. To remove the kajal, dab some of the Soul Tree Cleanser on some cotton wool and gently wipe your eyes. This kajal can also be used as an eye shadow.
How to store
Tightly close the cap of the metallic container after every use.
